Who: Pegasus, Jou When: After Ziggy and Kaiba move in to DK Where: Jous bar (which still doesn't have a name) Why: Because Pegs really really, REALLY needs a drink Rating: PGish but alcohol and adult themed stuff
After finishing his meal, or some of it; Jou laid back on the chair overlooking the view. He sighed tiredly and knew he needed sleep, he hadn't had a good night sleep in a long time. Looking around he decided he just needed to walk, he will try and get his mind of things. Standing up, the teen then pushed the cart back in the room and made sure that it was close by the door so the servant can pick it up.
Jou decided to just leave his jacket, it wasn't too cold for a stroll in the gardens and walked out of his room. Shoving his hands into his pockets, the teen looked around seeing some paintings and other expensive things...while doing that he was thinking on how to get to the garden, he only been there a few times and he couldn't remember exactly. Oh well...just keep walking and sooner or later he's bound to see someone and ask.
After a few minutes of being lost, Jou quickly found one of the servants and asked him about where he can go to relax, maybe the gardens or something. The servant nodded and motioned him towards the indoor greenhouse. Jou thanked him and then made his way towards the location. Reaching there the teen was in awe in how big it was, there was a decent size koi pond, lots of flowers and trees, there's even some birds flying around the greenhouse, and best of all it was quiet.
Reaching the pond, he looked over and dipped his hand into the water, he chuckled at seeing the fishes playing with his fingers and then sat next to the edge, at least for a moment he was ok.
A velvet soft muzzle nudged into the back of the teens shoulder. A snort of warm breath greeted him as the large white horse bobbed it's head almost in laughter as it greeted it's friend.
Firewing asked hopefully. No one had come to see him all day so he didn't waste any time on formalities, jumping right in to what he wanted. His master always brought him pink bunny shaped marshmallows when he was good. And he had been good. He didn't smell any on the nice blond haired General, but maybe he could get some?
The large orange and gold eye looked down at Jou and a hoof stomped impatiently.
"I live here. Masters home is my home. Lets go find pink!"
The animal shifted from hoof to hoof, skittishly waiting as if it wanted nothing more than to bolt through the french doors and race to the kitchens on it's own. It wasn't unheard of for Firewing to go mooching at the back door of the kitchen on his own, but he found he was much better received if he had a human with him. The cook could get grumpy about feeding things that weren't supposed to exist.
Was the enthusiastic reply. It knew very few words having to do with the human world, but kitchen was one of them because that was where food was kept. Even in the Palaces in Egypt the kitchens were a place to find sweets like honey coated dates and pomogranite cakes.
The Pegasus hooves made a happy clatter on the stone floors of the castle hallways. The architecture was large enough that it almost seemed to have a horse and rider in mind.
The cook caught sight of them as soon as the tall white nose passed the doorway.
"Hey now, what have I told you beasties about handouts now? I make people food, this isn't a zoo!"
The man walked over brandishing a wooden spoon at them. Flamewing gave an indignant snort and the red and gold flames of his wings were suddenly there filling the doorway.
"Master said I can have pink! Tell him General!"
The cook looked altogether unimpressed but he did look at Jou with more favor and even a bit of laughter.
"You been taken in by this little mooch now too have you? He's always trying to get cookies and marshmallows and sugar cubes off anyone who passes him by. I swear he has a worse sweet tooth than Master Pegasus himself and heaven know where he found the thing in the first place. Probably met over a dessert somewhere."
While watching the horse, he took several step back so not to touch the fiery wings of the horse.
At hearing the cook, Jou chuckled and just shrugged. "I have a soft spot for animals since I've been considered one for so long I can't even remember."
"Where can we get some of those...whateva things he wants?"
Jou laughed at the horse, he was so stubborned...he snorted, maybe he should join the club.
"Alright buddy, lets go and we shared da squishy white things with da fish k?" He smiled at him and gently gripped him by the mane. Jou then escorted him back to the greenhouse and walked towards the pond. When they reached, Jou sat on the edge again and took out some of the marshmallows in his hand, feeding it to the horse first then dropped a few into the water.
He looked down, seeing the fishes eating the treat, he then popped a few ones in his mouth. the teen once again held out his hand to feed the horse again.
"Ya kno'..ya called me general a few times...why is dat? I don't look like one, do I?"
"Good squishy whites... You are First General under Pharaoh Seth, Jonoh of Abedju, Lord of the East in the Land of Black sands. Where are your dogs? Always you travel with dogs, pretty golden coats, hunting dogs. Leave them home with wives?"
Firewing asked as he nudged for more marshmallows.

He blinked. "Whoa...you again." The blond stood up and wiped his hand dry before gently rubbing the horse's head.
"Hey buddy...long time no see."

The man handed over a whole bag of regular white marshmallows to Jou.
Firewing shook his mane and stomped.
"No pink?"
He nosed the bag in Jous hands with disappointment but he decided to settle. The wings slowly folded again and faded from view.
"Come back to the garden, squishy white can share with fish!"
