Jou remained quiet until they reached the castle, he sighed nervously and tied to keep close to Pegasus. He yawned quietly and hoped that he can at least take a nap before seeing Seto, he needed to just try and not screw this up again. Looking over Pegasus.

"Ya mind if we get somethin' to eat and may I get some rest? I'm feelin' a bit exhausted and would like to rest, if dats ok?" He spoke quietly while they reached inside the castle entrance.

"My it is getting late isn't it? I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking. Why don't I show you to your room then? You and Seto can talk in the morning if you like. He's usually in a better mood in the mornings...sometimes."

Pegasus told him with a reassuring smile.

"Just call down to the kitchen for whatever you want to eat. I'll just go and see how everyone else is doing. Mokuba is staying just down the hall from you if you want to see him in the morning too. It's far past his bedtime now though."

Jou smiled and nodded. "Thanks, I'm just a bit tired and I guess a night rest will be betta. That way everyone is rested." At mentioning Mokuba he smiled big. "Mokie is here too? Great, would love to see him too. I kno' I promised him I would talk to him concernin' Leon and Zuki." He smiled sadly, thinking that the poor kid already been through enough already.

"How is he?" He asked a bit worried bout the little guy.

"He's pretending to mope for attention, but I caught him running his scooter up and down the halls so he's obviously feeling a lot better. "

"I think Seto was right, he really did need a change of scenery to help him get past it all. And spending more time with his brother is making a big difference. It's really quite heartwarming to see."

Pegasus led his guest up a back stairway to the east wing of the castle where most of the smaller guest suites were located. Seigfried was staying in the west wing on the complete opposite side of the castle in a room Pegasus parents had once occupied. The Garden suite was far larger and more opulent than even his own rooms and looked out over the courtyard and what would in the summer months be a beautifully tangles english rose garden.

It was a hard room to find if you didn't know your way as it was in the oldest part of the castle at the end of several winding stone hallways. Pegasus doubted Jou would want to try and find it, so he made no mention at all of his pink haired guest.

"Well, dats good. I'm glad he's doin' ok but still I would like to see him." He smiled, happy that Mokie was feeling better. Jou then suddenly felt his tummy started to crave attention and hugged himself, he looked up at Pegasus and blushed.

"Sorry..haven't eaten in a while. Can I get somethin' to eat please?" He smiled.

Pegasus opened the carved oak door to Jous room and gestured inside. It was a contemporary space for such an old building. Forrest green walls and light cream furniture. Dark mahogany wood for everything from the writing desk to the large four poster bed. There was even a small sitting area to the right in front of the balcony and the starlight glancing off a winters landscape could just be seen through the fine lace curtains.

"Anything you like, just use the phone there by the bed, line three is for the kitchen. My cook has been much happier with more people around to feed lately. The poor fellow was spending all his time just dusting the pots and pans before the Kaibas came to stay."

Jou chuckled and looked around his room, he nodded and really liked what he saw. "Very nice room, Peggy. So big and elegant, makes me feel like I'm in a five star hotel." He then moved over the bed, and sat on it; damn even the bed looked elegant and also so comfy. He bounced on it a few times and giggled like a 5 year old, he never had a bed this comfy in his life and not even when he was with Seto in his mansion.

He stopped bouncing and sighed; he had to get ready for Seto when he sees him tomorrow. But first, he picked up the phone and dial the kitchen, he then heard the cook and he introduced himself, he chuckled hearing the man cheery voice and started to order several things.

The blond happily ordered a cheeseburger, several slices of pizza, a pint of ice cream, some sodas and several bags of doritos. When done he turned to Pegasus and chuckled.

"Ya cook sounded really happy when I ordered. Ya gonna join me or ya headin' for bed?"

"I was going to check on Seto and then if he lets me live, I have a few paintings that need my attention."

"If there's anything else you need, you only have to ask. My staff have little enough to do, they'd be glad to help you with whatever you want."

Pegasus headed towards the door, pausing to give Jou one last lingering smile.

"Thank-you for coming, it really does mean a lot to me. And I'm sure things will go well tommorow. Mokuba for one will be glad to see you."

Jou chuckled and nodded. "No problem, I guess I needed to come here too, but get some sleep ok? I can't wait to see da squirt."

He sat quietly on the bed and sighed. "I hope ya right, I hope tomorrow will turn out ok? Either way I'll be goin' home tomorrow and not bother ya guys again."

"Now none of that staying away! You're always welcome here and you know it Jou. And don't think for a second Kaiba can tell you otherwise. Both Mokuba and I will be sorely disappointed if you don't make a habit of visiting us more, and I'm sure Seto will come around too."

Pegasus told him with certainty.

"You get a good nights sleep now, ok? I'm sure between the two of us you've put in more hours at work this week. Goodnight Jou."

He took his leave before the blond could offer any more of his protests. Everything would work out alright in the end. Pegasus was sure of it.

He was about to argue about that but the man already left the room. He pouted and sighed, he kept himself quiet and waited for his food. After a few minutes, there was a knock on the door and he went to open it, a servant came in with a cart with food, Jou thanked him and the servant left.

Pulling the cart towards the balcony, he sat on the chair. He looked out at the view and sighed quietly for a moment, thinking about things and just everything that had happened in general in his life. Even though he had his friends, and of course Shizuka....he still felt...

Out of place...alone.

He shook that feeling away and started to eat quietly; trying to ignore that small feeling inside of wanting to runaway again, he thought that Pegasus helped him with that but...looks like that is one of the few things he had to take care of himself.

Pegasus decided that stealth would be the best approach as he neared his bedroom. Hopefully Kaiba had fallen asleep waiting for him to get home. The lights in the hallway were out, it was past eleven at night. Rather than turn them on Pegasus was confident enough to think he could sneak in without disturbing his lover

Seto opened his eyes, looking over the man with an examining gaze before then staring at his face. His eyes were obviously angry and accusing, but he said nothing, simply continuing to staring as his grip on the sheets became a little tighter.

"Ah, hello Blue eyes. I'm sorry, did I wake you? I didn't mean to be so loud, I know how you need your rest..."

Pegasus realized that he wasn't putting much of a dent in that glare.

"How are you feeling? I really didn't mean to be gone so long..."

He turned his hips and sat down on the edge of the bed. He knew it was a kin to baiting a lion with Setos dark mood but he hated not being close to him when they were in private like this.

"He's here, isn't he?" Seto asked darkly, not moving a muscle.

"You mean Jou? Of course, I told you I was bringing him home didn't I? If you don't care for his company I won't force you to see him. But he's still my friend and my guest and I'd rather not have you stomping around throwing things at his head. "

Pegasus smiled one of his most charming smiles and dared to reach a hand over to rub Setos knee. He was trying to be as soothing as he could in delivering the news, maybe Kaiba was too tired to argue? He could always hope.
