The blond was not his cheery self but had to come to work nonetheless, the past couple of days had been stressful and also school started as well, so which meant...he can't slack off. He sighed and looked around the place, at least not much people here, that's the good part in working on weeknights, bad part, trying to wake up the next day to go to school.

He pouted to himself and thinking of what he had mentioned to Mana, he will go this weekend and look for better job and leave this dump. Damn he wished to go far away and just never come back, it would be easier...but he also knew it was a cowardly way to think that and it's not as easy as it sound. Oh well, just stick it out until school ends then get his ass in gear and leave. Nodding to himself, that is exactly what he will do; maybe go somewhere far and study...maybe he can go see Shizuka.

At remembering his sister, he took it hard; damn mother of his, why did he had to take her away when he needed her the most. Its like everything is falling apart and his emotions are all out of whack, thank god for his friends and Mana...he's not 100% his usual self but...its just going to take time.

After serving some customers; on the corner of his eye he recognized Pegasus. He blink, why would the man be here? Especially after what happened the last time he was here? He sighed quietly and made his way towards him.

"Ya kno'...ya need a vacation. Ya don't look so good, and I bet I look like crap ne?" He chuckled softly.

"Ah, always such wonderful flattery Joey-boy! If you keep complimenting me on my looks I may just fall for you one of these days, vain creature that I am."

Pegasus smirked at him wryly and tucked a stray bit of his bangs behind his ear. He didn't like Jous wearyness and despair, but the blond seemed to be coping with it on his own well enough. All he could offer was the same comfort ant other friend could.

"Would you mind getting me a drink please? I think I'm in the mood for something sweet and strong, think you're up to the challenge?"

Jou chuckled and quickly nodded. "I'm always up for a challenge, lets see sweet and strong...I think I have one for ya as a starter. Don't let da name give ya any ideas, its weird I kno' but its quite good." The blond quickly took out the ingredients.

Making sure that all the ingredients were chilled, the blond bartender, added the vodka, schnapps and rum to a cocktail shaker. Then he poured some crushed ice and shake well for about 10 seconds and added the mango and cranberry juice. He shook the shaker until a frost formed and then added some crushed ice to a glass, he placed a straw in it, and poured the drink in.

After he poured the drink in a Margarita glass just to be fancy, and serve the drink to Pegasus. "I present da Fuzzy Tongue."

"Oh, what a lovely colour."

Pegasus exclaimed. He took a liberal sip and it was fairly good. Jou did have some talent in his job.

"Mmmm, lovely taste as well. If you ever decide to stay in the service industry my boy, I can always use you at home."

"How have you been lately Jou? I know the funeral is this week..."

He didn't like to dredge up pain, but it wasn't something you could pretend to ignore. The boys memory deserved better than that, and so did Jous part in his last days.

He started to wipe the counter while speaking to the man; trying to keep himself busy and not think too much. He sighed tiredly.

"I don't kno'. I guess I'm ok so far. Can't lie to ya but its been hard...I was close to da little guy and I still can't believe his gone." He said while he quickly attended a few more customers. When he was done he started to clean up some already clean glasses, he was just not paying too much attention now.

"Well, not much I can do now. I just got to keep tellin' myself dat he's in a betta place and dat he's watchin' over me like he said he would. But.." He suddenly went quiet, thinking about Leon's last words to him.

"Life is eternal, and love is immortal, and death is only a horizon and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight. I'm sure you don't have to worry for Leon. He's simply gone beyond our humble perceptions to a much better place."

"I know it's not much, but you were there for him in the end Jou. That's all that really matters. I'm here if you need to talk about anything, I won't take sides."

Pegasus told him sincerely. His warm cinnamon eye gazing over the rim of the artfully held glass.

Jou nodded and looked up at Pegasus; he sighed and smiled sadly. "Thank ya, I just hoped I did da best I could for him. I still feel I could've done somethin' else. I just wished I was stronger, I could've stopped him..."

The blond wiped his eyes with the back of his hand and did his best to not cry; he was at work after all and also he didn't want to cause Pegs any discomfort. Quickly regaining his composure, he went to fill Pegasus his drink.

"Anyway...whats done is done, right? Just got to try and move forward. Besides I heard..." He looked at him and with his hand he motioned 3 fingers, indicating the triplets and smiled softly, trying his best to not look tired.

"Congrats is in order, when is da little projects arrivin'?"

Leon hovered around Jou the whole time, smiling when 'moving forward' was mentioned.
"Yes, Jou. Just forget and move forward. That's how I want it to be." He said softly, a gentle hand petting the blonde's hair.

Pegasus watched Leons little spirit closely. He wasn't about to say anything to Jou about it, but the presence around him was obvious. He had known Leon too, given the enthusiastic child his very own deck of cards when he had first started dueling. To see him now, knowing how he had lived and died, was more than a little disconcerting.

""...Leonhart dear one, is there a reason you are still here with Jou?...""

He asked the boys spirit gently, using the millennium eye to communicate without letting any others hear. His German may have been a little rusty, but surely the warmth and concern in his tone was conveyed none the less.

Pegasus looked up at Jou and what he was saying, a little bit of distraction apparent in his expression. He didn't know why Jou was holding up three fingers, but he returned the others smile.

"Huh? Oh, yes, thank-you Jou! The doctor told us the baby won't be here for awhile yet. We're not even half way there. But because of a number of things that aren't exactly usual he set the due date at June 14th."

"Isn't it just so exciting!? Seto will be such a wonderful parent, won't he?"

Pegasus gushed and clasped his hands. He could already picture the cute nursery they would have and all the toys and little baby clothes and the stroller and the swingset and the tree house and secret fort and a ton of other things a child would need. There was really so much to get ready! He was glad he had someone as responsible and organized as Seto to help him keep track of it all!

Leon was startled by the sudden voice that called to him.

"Pegasus-sama?" He blinked at the man then shook himself and answered nonetheless. "I am here to guard Jou and make sure he's happy and forgets." He ran gentle fingers through the blonde's hair. "But.. how come you can see me, talk to me?" He questioned, clearly confused.

""I spend a lot of my time dealing with souls, little one. I am glad to hear you aren't one of the lost ones. At least, not yet.""

Pegasus replied carefully. He wasn't all that sure why the boy thought Jou needed his help so much. Jou had a lot of friends who were already helping him through this.

""Is there any other reason you are here Leon?...Would you, like to say goodbye to your brother perhaps?""

The look that passed through Leon's face at the mentioning of his brother was a mixture of panic, disgust and strangely enough, love.

"No. Not really. My only purpose is making Jou forget." He answered softly, fingers ghosting across Jou's cheek. "I can't leave him..." He spoke softly. "Ironic, ne?" He let out a short, bitter laughter.

""Not so Leon. I know the lengths some will go to for trying to be with the ones they love. You have nothing to regret here.""

Pegasus told him with understanding. He was such a sweet and troubled boy. His heart went out to him and his selfless little mission.

Leon smiled at him gratefully. Someone understood. It made him happy.

"Thank you, Pegasus-sama..." He said softly.

He kept silent for a while.

"I don't regret it. It does feel a lot better this way..."

At hearing Pegasus gush over the fact that he and Seto are going to be parents, he felt a slight pain in his chest. He shook it off, he is not suppose to feel that, not now or ever. But at least he sounded like they are happy.

Smiling..and hiding his hurt..he nodded. "I'm happy dat ya guys are doin' ok. Best of luck wit dat." He then went to see some of the customers waiting for him. He kept feeling something touch his hair and cheek, but he figured he was tired and imagining things.

Returning to Pegasus he tried to think of things they could talk about, he really didn't want to talk about Seto, most likely the brunette already told him about how mean he was towards the young CEO. He sighed sadly, it would be better that way.

Pegasus put down his drink and reached to take the blond by his hand. He looked up at him earnestly.

"It's ok Jou. I know you love him too, and I don't mind. You don't have to stop loving him, I'm not going to make you hurt like that. And Seto needs you right now just as much as he needs me, even if it is only as a friend."

"Please, you don't have to lock him out like this. It's only causing you both pain."
