Anzu looked up at the fancy apartment complex as the wind blew through her hair. It had been several days since the tea party, and Anzu hadn't heard a word from Mai. Hadn't they had fun during the party? Wasn't she happy?
Her heart began to throb painfully as she made her way towards the entrance.
Once inside, she buzzed Mai's apartment...once, twice, three times even...but no answer. She'd tried calling her cell phone, but the line had been disconnected.
'Mai...' A stray tear made it down her face before she heard someone speak to her...
