Pegasus was having a rather apprehensive day. Everything was in place for his little tea party down to the last lace edged napkin. He was already in his costume with ruffles everywhere and curly hair extensions that he kept blowing out of his face. He had slipped out to the edge of the castle gate waiting for the Jet to come into view across the ocean horizon from Domino.
He could ask Croquet any time who was on that plane, he could even check himself using the eye, but he had chosen not to. He wanted to know but at the same time he didn't. Was anyone actually coming? More importantly, was Kaiba?
Mai was upstairs changing into her own costume. She had been here all day, actually since the previous evening. He wasn't too sure how she'd react to him in a dress, but she seemed in good spirits about it over breakfast. She had even suggested the colors for his outfit and how he should ware his hair. She was really a true gem and he didn't know if he'd be in the mood to throw any sort of party if he hadn't found her.
Pegasus took a deep breath that was almost a sigh, then put on his usual smile as he turned back inside in a flurry of satin and tule. This was going to be an interesting time, to say the least.
