But the marriage of Marc Antony and Octavia was a serious, political thing, so I doubt if they will skip this. But it would by highly illogical in HBO's Rome-verse. Not just from the sentimental point of view this marriage would totally miss it's purpose. It was a tactical gesture, right? To seal the pact between Octavian and Antony. So then to strengthen their alliance Octavian would make Marc Antony, who loves his mother (and she loves him too), marry his junky sister whom he (Octavian) secretly loves and whom his best general not-so-secretly loves, but who doesn't like boys very much at all, least of all Antony who doesn't think much of her either. (congrats if you didn’t get lost in that sentence XD) Yeah, I'm sure that would build much trust and friendship between the allies. One happy family they would be ;) I realise that political marriages not seldom made people unhappy, but normally the list of unhappy people ended with the bride and her sweetheart (if there was one). Making the husband unhappy isn't such a bright idea. Nor is giving your second in command a reason to hate you...
But, like I said - there's always the possibility that Octavian is a sadistic little creature and wants to see everyone suffer, so in this case Antony/Octavia should achieve his goal just nicely ;)
Livia Drusilla's role is already cast. She'll be in just two episodes though, if that's some comfort for you... (maybe she won't menage to do any harm...)
An interesting thing - the actress that plays Jocasta was for a long time (they finally updated it on imdb just today) cast as Scribonia and will be playing a major role in the next episodes. It's not imdb's mistake because HBO's site used to list her as Scribonia too... I wonder why they changed their mind. And does it mean that there won't be a Scribonia, or that she'll marry Octavian but will be called Jocasta for reasons left unknown? (Methinks Maecenas/Jocasta would be more probable then her and Octavian ;P)
Your man won`t, my boy will:P Would it be too much to ask for some empathy?;__;
PS. The purpose of the battle is to win a war ;P Which Brutus didn't as well v_v
Well, it`s hard to believe for me that they will end this happily. Besides, a marriage between Atia and Antony wouldn`t be enough, these two do what they want, without Octavian`s permission:P.

She`s a worse intriguer than Atia, Atia didn`t banish Julia, Agrippa, their descendants (for example Agrippina the Elder, a mother of Kaligula. Can you imagine Agrippa- a grandpa of Kaligula xD````? And Agrippina the Younger, who was a poisoner as well xD```?), didn`t poison Octavian, Germanik etc etc. I could list more her crimes -_-. I HOPE that Octavian won`t fall in love with her during these two episodes, because I don`t want her to banish Agrippa and set a variance between him and Octavian-_-.

Romans had a lot of names (though Jokasta isn`t probably a Roman...the best proof is her name, "Jokasta"...), for example Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa ("Agrippa" isn`t a surname;]), Livia Drusilla, Gaius Octavius etc:). BTW, Jokasta looks like a frog xD, I was laughing like hell when she was high on drugs and said: "Walls are melting!!! We are all gonna die!!! Hahahaa xD!!!!"
