Well...I've been putting this off for quite a while, I think it's about time I made a serious update in this thing. I have some time, so the time is now...aha...>_>
Well, what's new with me? Honestly nothing too much that would be entirely interesting to you all. But there is a few new things that I should get to talking about.
Moving out: While this news isn't relatively new, I've been living on my own for...well going on six months now. We started with four of us room mates but there is now three of us, something I won't get into out of respect for the persons involved. Which means the rent went up a little bit, but due to good things happening at the moment, I don't mind at all. I have a small little room in the back area of a massive apartment with two roommates Jill and Steve *waves to them*. Now that I'm not living with my dad anymore I don't really see him as much, and the stress is completely gone off of my shoulders. Except...I gotta focus more on cleaning cause I can't blame Keith for not doing it anymore. >_> _> *cough* Continuing on! >_> I have to say I love it, living by myself, being responsible by myself. I don't have to fear my roommates for saying scathing things about my personal life, and we're all a collective bunch of dorks. I plan to convert them to Jrock full eventually...although Jill's getting me into this singer named Emilie Autumn...so I think it's happening the other way around. >_> *Shakes fist in air*
Work: Due to most unfortunate events at work I was able to apply for and receive a promotion at the work place. This would make me a head cashier nowadays, not too shabby a position now that I'm getting used to telling people what to do and having them not listen to a word I say! *giggles*. However, I can't say it's the same there anymore after what happened, also something I won't get into, you can ask him if you ever see him around. But seriously...it just isn't the same. I was hoping we'd all be a head cash team together, cracking down on the lazies and improving the front end. But people make mistakes and people exploit them, and it just couldn't happen that way.
Speaking of, if you do read this at any time in the future dude, we gotta get together or something! I miss you! *hugs* Did you ever cut your hair?
Love Life: Well yeah, for eight months or so (I can't keep count...don't bother trying) I've had a boyfriend, whom I adore. Surprisingly to most, that's all I feel comfortable saying in public about my man...but, he's from Indiana, we met online, he's coming to visit in two weeks. Hopefully I'll have pictures to show you all. He's not Asian, doesn't listen to J-rock, he's just a normal guy, sorry to disappoint, but he doesn't disappoint me. Okay, I swear that's it now!
J-Rock: While the lack of a awesome connection and places to download tunes has dwindled quite a bit. Even with the tragic disbanding of Pierrot, I am still a J-Rock fan! I'll have to ask you all for some advice...because I'm having serious issues finding a good place to download some new tunes around the web! I've been frequenting Tonberry and Soulseek, but it's just not enough! I can't wait until I get a reliable connection again...which will be soon, because Steve and I got a router a while back that we're going to use once Keith's got all of his stuff out. So no more connection frustration! But please tell me some good torrent sites or something I can go and download the latest and greatest! Thanks!
Of course I will leave with a promise to hopefully update more often, even once a week helps with everyone keeping up with the thing. I also have to get back into moderating my growing Canadian J-Rock communities on Livejournal. I'm getting better at the supervising thing, I swear!
Later all
- Trish
