ohhhh heaven
new york is chilly. and sarah lawrence is a very pretty place. and everyone here is insanely attractive. EVERYONE.
the train ride was like 20 hours long... i did not however mind, i have a new CD player, and the beta band is excellent train music especially at 6 AM.
we passed through washington DC and philadelphia...
philadelphia is the second ugliest place i have ever seen. delaware is the first ugliest. but philadelphia out of a train window is fucking awesome. i can't really explain why but it is, i promise.
a lot of graffiti everywhere
so when we pulled into penn station, matt came and found me and we walked to grand central station, past a lot of buildings including times square and that MTV building and a lot of giant famous people on walls with shiny lights and things and that was completely awesome. we got indian food from a vendor in grand central and took the train to bronxville.
and i met matt's roommate Jarrett, who is the sort of guy you feel like you've known your whole life. he is really, really hilarious all the time and likes jazz and gangsta rap a lot. he studies poetry and makes weird little wax figurines of crazy-eye people.
and the other people in his house are Laura who is kind of uptight, Lisa who is also kind of uptight but also sort of no-bullshit and funny sometimes, Sean who is creepy and lame, Nick who is extremely gay and very much of a drama queen but also incredibly funny sometimes, Eric who is so far always drunk and has pretty eyes, Diane who I have not talked to much, Miranda who is cool and bad-ass and reminds me of Emma Lacey-Bordeaux, and Liz and Ned whom I have not met yet.
I have a huge crush on Eric, and I need to talk to Nick so he can give me the biz
yesterday = day 1. matt, jarrett, nick, and I got stoned and watched the fifth element.
today = day 2. i went to matt's drawing class and drew this guy in a sweater. we are about to go pick up matt's spring break pictures. and tonight we have to have dinner with some chick matt met on the train named Alana or something. whatever.
i am having more fun than anyone in the world and everything is totally, totally bliss. ha ha hahahaha
