So crossposting between LJ and Dreamwidth has been wonky (ps, if anyone would rather read me on Dreamwidth, I'm also yubsie there), so I guess you guys over on this side never heard about this one:
We've set a date for my thesis defense. Kinda, anyway. We have a week, since we've selected the external examiner. The actual date will be narrowed down after we work out the extradepartmental, but it's going to be the week of December 17th. Which means I have to submit on November 5th. Which is soon, eep.
So yeah... exciting, but also terrifying, since this means this is really happening. Defenses were always things that happened to other people! :p
