LOL, I didn't want to draw anything out, I was all, "Let's watch all four ASAP!" and luckily, my friend was all for it.

*high, high, high five* I love us XD
GASPARD IS SURPASSINGLY HANDSOME AS IN SURPASSING HUMAN LEVELS OF HANDSOME. I fangirl-spasmed when he was on-screen, that is, I fangirl-spasmed pretty damn frequently.

Y'know, contrary to what I posted, I would be up for watching Hannibal Rising with you. =D I fully support keeping an eye on our pretty, homocidal boys.

But omg was Silence amazing or WHAT? The cage scene and the dark-house-nightvision-goggles scene are the most intense scenes EVER CREATED ON FILM

Oh man I was so ashamed when I allowed myself to let Gaspard become the reason I finally watched the Hannibal series *LOL* especially when I read online that Hannibal Rising is the least good of all of them XD; But ever since I first laid eyes on the LD cover (yes, that is short for LASER DISC because this was 1996) when I was like 10 I was so freaked out by it that I swore off Silence forever. The cover is like the creepiest thing ever omg.

Silence was superb and oh, I CANNOT TAKE cat-and-mouse scenes/sequences. Suspense KILLS me. I remember the nightvision goggles scene and being all, "OH GOD KATIE I CAN'T TAKE THIS [to the movie characters/movie makers] HURRY IT UP YOU JACKASSES" (I am, regrettably, not entirely kind when tense)

*shrug* I am not ashamed Gaspard is the reason I got into them. I mean, dude, they're SCARY MOVIES. I don't DO scary movies, no matter how acclaimed, and if I ever do, the reason I will is certainly not "I need to scared out of my mind". What's more important to me than why we get into them is why we love them. =) Now that I've seen how good they are, I can appreciate how acclaimed they are as well.

I don't like any scary movie covers XD They will have kittens and puppies on them and I'll avoid them like the plague because there is an aura about them and that aura whispers to me of nightmares. Trust me though, Hannibal Rising will not give you nightmares. You in to see it with me, yes, yes? =D

YES I WILL ABSOLUTELY SEE IT WITH YOU

if you don't mind also seeing Red Dragon again cuz I bought it for $3 from the Frys bargain bin after finding - much to my OUTRAGE - that they didn't carry it at Blockbuster.

:DDDDDD

ECKSSSSSSELLENT

I can't believe they didn't have it at Blockbuster! WTF. The one nearest my home on Stelling/Hollenbeck had it, and that one's kind of tiny. Still, now you OWN it for, like, nothing >D It has some pretty good special features.

I just watched Red Dragon last night and I will WATCH IT AGAIN WITH YOU because it's a very good prequel and our ongoing, snarky, verbal commentary is a little too much fun.
