here i come!

In case any of you ever wondered where did I go...

I landed safely both in London and then in Warsaw, got back to my hometown, spent far more time adjusting to time difference than I expected to, and almost got a job. Almost, because there's one more stage left to complete before they can ascertain I don't bite (ugh... I do actually, but you've gotta earn that...) and sign a contract with me.

Anyway, today I have a one-time job I got simply because I was lucky - I'm gonna be an extra in a TV drama shot in my hometown! Yes, people, if I'm seated strategically close to actual cast, my face me be even on screen for some 2 seconds or so... XD

But that's not really important - what is, is that I get the chance to see how a TV drama is being made, I get to dress up for that (it's a 'birthday party in a restaurant' scene, so they specifically told me to doll up), and they are going to pay me at the end of the day. Yay!

I should probably be excited about meeting some Polish TV stars but... I only know one (literally ONE) actress mentioned in the net as a member of main crew... When I google-d the guy this party is for (I mean the actor who plays him of course) it appeared he's some kind of a star, a heartthrob and what-not, but I could swear I have never seen him in my life... kekeke... my eyes are forever in the Far East I guess? It's gonna be fun to see pros at work anyway. :)

Since we're on drama topic... this seasaon I'm watching:
11nin mo iru thanks to harukazepanda's rec, and the fact Hirosue Ryoko is in the cast. I have a lot of respect for her, and it's for a reason - her portrayal of a dead-stripper-often-drunk-mother-to-seven-kids-who-can-only-talk-to-the-eighth simply makes this drama. just like ran said.
Nazotoki wa dinner no ato de thanks to Sho and Keiko. It's stupid, very comic-like (yes, comic, not even manga), but the fact it's actually very tongue-in-cheek and pure pastiche makes it a very enjoyable watch. I laugh a lot.
Watashi ga renai dekinai riyuu because it appears to be a good joshidora. There's Yuriko and Karina, but I actually found that out after I started watching. Only two eps are up so far, but I like it a lot. And, well, I can relate ;)

So, off I go, to make myself pretty <3

personal, poland, traveling, work, dorama
