Rest in peace and fly away

Life without TV has it's ups and downs. One of the down sides is that you don't get the news unless you actively search for them. Today was the day that I just happened to need something about bice, and this is what I found out:

bice's official page

For those of you who don't understand Japanese and haven't heard the news when it was actually news, this is (give or take, as I don't have time for detailed translations) what it says:

bice (ビーチェ) (real name: Kurushima Yuuko) has passed away in her home due to a heart stroke, on July 26th. Here, we humbly inform you while thanking for your kindness (to her) while (she was) alive.

Thank you very much to all the fans who supported her, and to all people connected.

According to family's will, the funeral service was held with family members (only). We ask for your understanding.

To say I felt a shiver go down my spine upon reading it would be an understatement. She was only 38...and a stroke! maybe she wasn't my favorite artist of all times, but I loved her works dearly and I will miss her. And oh so ironically, the only words that come to my mind that could express my feelings properly are her own. Which is very unoriginal, as she's being said goodbye to with these words all over the net. But that's not important, is it.

Rest in peace, bice, and fly away to some happy land of very many red balloons.
