Title: Bad boys don't cry - part 7
Author: me
Pairing: past jinda still haunting. a kinda sorta maybe uepi in a wicked way. ryokame that just happened. one-sided koyapi blinking at you. some others and who knows what else in later parts...
Genre: basically crack-romance, but some people still like angsting.
Rating: PG-15?..
Disclaimer: Johnny owns the real boys, Tokyo Sports and other mags own the mighty shuffle idea, personal scandals, and Akanishi's supposedly badass personality. I own random characters.
Summary & A/N: If you friend starts behaving strange, what do you think has happened? But yes, of course, he must be possessed by a Ryukyuan demon. And the fact he's been to Ogasawara which is quite FAR away from Ryukyu is just a tiny detail, isn't it? In this part you'll learn which clothes Ueda definitely shouldn't wear anymore, What Hina would rather do instead of exorcising demons, whose calls Pi is unkeen to answer, and which JE member speaks Russian.
Warning: This is an ALTERNATE PAST fic, as the plot revolves around a few gossip magazines stories about what was supposed to happen in the year 2009, but obviously did not. Therefore, some things that actually happened in 2009 may end up moved in time or not happening at all in this fic, and different things go on instead.
A/N: The Russian lines at the end of this chapter were translated by my mum with a massive overuse of online translators, online cyrillic keyboard and a few episodes of Nu Pogodi!. If you happen to speak Russian and find any mistakes, I would be very grateful for correction. If you do not, don't worry, nothing important is being said. Relate to Ueda's feelings, he doesn't get it too ;P.

Shake Hip Hop! Fickle remix Brainstorming did no good to Koyama, Akanishi and Murakami. Going through books also didn't leave them with many options, at least after they wrote off the spooky exorcisms Koyama would absolutely not agree for, to Hina's disappointment. They spent three days trying to figure out a human way to get Pi back to himself. While Kei still tried fighting the ridiculous idea of YamaPi being possessed by a demon, Jin eagerly went to the closest Buddhist temple and got them appropriate protecting amulets. Afterwards he and Hina tried several times to corner Pi somewhere and recite sutras, but to no avail. Firstly, Pi who ignored everything and everyone was somehow uncornerable. Secondly, when they managed to catch him sitting alone on some windowsill and started reciting, he kept ignoring them for about five minutes, then only said
"You look idiotic"
and resumed whatever he was not-doing.
Now, there was only one thing left to do. It was finding out what happend that Taguchi turned back to normal. No one even asked Jin if he wanted to volunteer for the job, they simply expected him to call Taguchi up.
He wouldn't, if it wasn't already Wednesday. But it was, and aside from saving Pi, Jin had an inexplicable urge to save Ueda. From what, he wasn't sure, but he instinctively knew that was the very force that pushed him to made the call and eventually dragged him all the way to Junno's door.
At first they wanted to go to a cafe, but as soon as Taguchi heard what was the matter they wanted to talk about, he firmly refused. He'd rather have them all in his messy room risking some of the precious game DVDs scattered on the floor to get scratched, than risk telling the story of his unfaithfulness in a public place. He hastily moved as many things as he could under the walls and prepared a clean circle in which four men could seat more or less comfortably. He put on a CD to ensure absolutely no neighbours could hear no thing, he made sure the windows were closed and closed the curtains too. Then he brought beer and cookies (Jin made a mental note to start liking Taguchi a bit more in the nearest future) and sat in the centre of the room, prepared to be damned.
Hina was asking questions, Jin was taking notes and Kei was praying for and against this to work at the same time. The idea of Pi being possessed was spooky enough, but the idea of him staying possessed for the rest of his life was even worse. That's how Kei agreed for that ridiculousness to take place at all.
"Let's go through it step by step, Taguchi" Hina commandeered after the umpteenth time Junno told him he didn't know what the talk was about, and Jin choked on a cookie. "What exactly did you do with that girl? You ate dinner, went to her place, and?.."
Junno blushed.
"Guys, that's private! And I want to forget about it anyway, I don't even know how that could have happened, I love my girlfriend so much I..."
"Oh, stop it finally!!" Jin cut in, sick of Taguchi's love talk. Additionally, he just run out of cookies. "We got it that you didn't want to cheat, now we want to know how did you come to that conclusion AFTER doing so. You realize yourself something changed, right? Just tell us what happened exactly before your conscience kicked in!"
"Well..." Junno really wasn't keen on telling them which pages of Kamasutra he and Yuriko made real, especially that there were so many he wasn't sure he remembered them all.
"Please..." Koyama sighed and joined the interrogation. "This is to maybe save Pi. We won't tell your girlfriend, we won't tell anyone, promise."
Junno massaged his temples, sighed and emptied about a half of his beer glass in one go.
"Alright then... give me a piece of paper, it'll be easier to draw than to explain."

Pi woke up on a beach and wasn't sure where he was. The sun was high up, it must have been around noon and he should have been finishing some training at the johnny's building. Luckily he had no outside activities assigned for that day, but he was going to have problems anyway. Only, it strangely didn't concern him as much as it used to. He couldn't locate his cellphone, his car was nowhere in sight and he had sand in his hair, his shoes, and his underwear, but luckily there was no one around to watch and judge him when he was trying to get rid of it. When he took off the shirt, he felt the after smell of salty, ocean water. He must have been swimming for a long time, even though he remembered none of it. Everything felt so other-worldly he'd be seriously worried about his brain if not for the fact Tokyo was exactly as fairy-tale-ish lately.
Now, where was he and why?
Pi emptied his pants' pockets on the occasion of getting naked, and found his car keys, and 300 yen. End of the story.
His head hurt terribly whenever he tried to remember how he got to the beach in the first place, but then again, he felt so good there, he didn't want to leave. It seemed to be his place, so calm, so close to the ocean... He had to force himself to put his clothes back on and walk to the road.
He was lucky enough to walk in the right direction and find his car after about half an hour, abandoned on the side of the road on the outskirts of some village. Hoping not to get recognized by anyone he hurried to find the nearest vending machine, bought a can of coffee and then hit the road. While he was driving and looking for any signs indicating how far away from Tokyo he was, he realized his cellphone resting on the passenger's seat. It was blinking with numerous unanswered calls, and one text message.
From Takizawa.
He ignored it. With all his might he now somehow possessed so much of, he ignored it.

Ueda wasn't going on a date with Yamashita.
Of course.
That thought never even appeared in his mind.
For starters, he wasn't interested in another gay relationship at all. He was now planning to be a normal, regular idol. Date a model, cause a mild scandal or two, knock up a preferably decent singer or actress, get married, get divorced, blah blah blah.
He decided blue wasn't the right colour.
That perfect plan got a little dented when he became friends with Uchi, because Uchi was not only straightforward in reminding Ueda of what he really wanted, he was also right.
The cap didn't really go well with the rest of the outfit. Ueda's hairdo stood out too much too. Time to change back to black? Nah, Jin would think it was because of him.
But that, that had nothing to do with Yamashita.
Ueda didn't even like Yamashita.
He was annoyed by Yamashita, for various reasons including the latter being a normal, regular idol who'd date a model, cause a mild scandal or two, eventually knock up a decent singer or actress in order to make the boss shut up and let him get married and Yamashita, yes, Yamashita probably wouldn't get divorced at the end of it all.
At least that was how Ueda felt about him.
So why was he spending do much time in front of the mirror?
He suddenly got angry with himself, and just took whatever he could grab first in the closet. Which turned out to be his old-time-favourite, outstretched, loosely knit sweater, that fell like a tunic over his jeans. It was actually way to wide around the collar, like most of his old clothes, but Ueda got a bit buffier? since the last time he wore it, so there was probably no threat of it falling off of his shoulder. Probably.
And besides, he did NOT care.
When he was about to leave house, his cellphone rang and he saw Jin's face on the screen. At first he wanted to ignore the call but...
"What is it?" but he couldn't. Old habits die hard.
"Where are you now?" Jin demanded. He was so full of it yet again.
"At home, but it's not your busin..."
Jin wouldn't let him finish.
"Good! Stay there! Don't go anywhere, you hear me?! I'll be there in an hour!"
Ueda looked at the clock. If he didn't leave in next 10 minutes, he'd be late. Unfashionably.
"I have a date" he spoke slowly, and so matter-of-factly it surprised himself. "Don't bother me".
Saying so, he turned off his cellphone, and left the house.

"Why do you insist on finding him now?!" whined Hina, tired of running around the johnny's building after Jin and Kei, who lost themselves in the search of 'the only valid source of information' a.k.a. Takizawa. "He's got a date with Ueda right? Let him have it! Maybe they'll have sex and somehow end up in the right position and Pi will be himself again? Why don't we check with him tomorrow morning?!"
"We DON'T want him to have sex with Ueda" Jin and Kei answered simultaneously, and gave each other a bit surprised, but still agreeing looks.
"But WHY?" Hina cried again. This whole demon hunting thing was supposed to be fun, and it wasn't so anymore. He wanted to go home and use the rest of his free day to his advantage, like call Erika, ask Erika if she had time, make Erika have that time, and have a lot of sex, with Erika. But his stupid workmates kept dragging him around stubbornly, saying it was just in case his memory of what happened on the island got important at some point.
Jin stopped, turned around and produced the paper with Taguchi's positions from his bag.
"Do you want to have this on your conscience?" He pointed at a random picture shoving it into Murakami's face. "Would you want Yamashita to top you, and top you like THAT?" he pointed another. Hina didn't answer, busy working it out which one of the sticky figurines on the picture was actually topping. Taguchi clearly couldn't draw this kind of things.
"See, no one would!" Jin continued, while Koyama apparently choked on something and coughed. "We don't want Ueda to find about YamaPi's demon possession the hard way. Koyama is volunteering for the sake of his precious friend and we need to find that friend as soon as possible, before Koyama changes his mind!"
Kei nodded several times, after which both him and Jin turned around again and resumed their quest.
For Hina's logic, it looked awfully like Jin was simply trying to prevent Pi from scoring his ex, and Kei finally found an excuse to let himself get scored by Pi instead, but Hina was wiser than to voice it out. He just secretly texted Erika hoping she would have time and will to get scored by Hina himself after all that was over. Because, as much as he fought it and tried to be decent and maybe even a bit supportive of Pi (because as much as it couldn't really be a demon, something clearly was wrong with that guy), too much talking of sex this and sex that got poor Shingo horny. That, and there were a handful of positions on Taguchi's list that actually looked like fun.

When Ueda finally found that club in Funabashi, he was told at the door Pi has already been waiting for him in a private room. The door man led him through a maze of extravagantly decorated rooms and finally left him at the spiral staircase that led up to darkness.
Tatsuya suddenly remembered how badly Jin didn't want him to go there, but he shoved it off as silly sentiments. The Jin who cared, who was worried or jealous, that Jin was long gone.
"Sorry I made you wait" Ueda apologized when finally inside the room. He earned a smile, somehow sly, but still a smile, and Yamashita patted space next to him on the couch.
Ueda tugged on the collar of his sweater (which kept slipping after all), and looked around. There were three chairs on the other side of the table. But whatever, he sat next to Yamashita. And he maybe felt a little bit smitten, although he wouldn't admit that. There was something wild about Yamashita that particular day, something hard to describe.
"Привет! Что у тебя?" he was so puzzled by the weird sounds coming from Pi's mounth, he didn't even realized the hand that appeared on his shoulder.
"Не важно, я рад, что ты пришел" the weird sounds continued, whispered right to Ueda's ear. Ueda found himself paralyzed by these sounds. Now fully aware of what was going on, he wanted to shove Pi's hands away, punch him in the face and demand explanation, but he wasn't able to, as if a spell had been cast.
"Тебе ведь нравится русский? ты хочешь увидеть, что ещо могу сделать з етом мльчнком?"
"S...stop it..." Tatsuya managed to whisper when Yamashita's lips came too close to his, but he still couldn't actually stop him in any way. He couldn't beat him up like he was planning to do if something bad happened, for some reason he couldn't even get properly angry. His mind was freaking out, but his body submitted fully to the command of Yamashita and his magic spells.
And the collar of his sweater chose exactly that moment to slip off yet again. Pi, or whatever it was that was speaking through him, wasn't waiting for any other form of approval, he simply grabbed the collar with both hands, and tore it apart.
There were about this many things on the ground that were worthy giving up the ocean for, he thought while working his tongue around the beauty's nipple. He was almost ready to reach much lower, regardless of the weak and suppressed cries of protest from the boy that were actually more arousing than worth considering for their purpose, when he heard a loud thud.
He raised his head just in time to get hit straight in the face by someone, and fall off of Ueda.
