While looking for several versions of a jazz standard for tonight's jam session I ended up not going to, I stumbled upon a few other nice (actually nicer) things and ended up downloading some western music.
To tell you the truth, I feel a little guilty downloading Sting, cause he's last to be called 'unreachable' or 'hard to get'. I could probably get his album without much effort, and for a price that wouldn't kill me (like Japanese prices do, not because they're so high in general, but because they GET high when given in polish currency. CDies released over here usually cost three times less, and it's still recognizable amount relative to your next-door-Joe's pay). Well, maybe I will actually buy it one day.
For now, I don't have a stereo set in my room, I'm only using computer to play music. So using audio CDs is actually quite a pain to me. When I buy a new one, usually the first thing I do is rip it to mp3 so I could listen to it whenever I want, without all that unnecessary mess with changing CDs every few songs. I'm not the one to care a lot about booklet art too. So the only reason to buy originals is 'to pay respect to the artist'. I rarely wipe the dust off of them.
Still, I find it a little sad.
Oh, about that jam session... I didn't feel like going. The weather was awful today, it was cold and wet, and windy. And I wanted to get back home. On days like this one I really wish next three years would pass faster. Only if they were to pass the way I want them to, of course -_^. But still.

Forgot to mention. I had an *interesting* JE dream two days ago. Uebo and Koyama in it this time. And guess who was I, ekhem, "involved" with... Right. First Pi, now Kei, how come I go through all the guys I'm not that fond of, while Tatsuhime flows around so teasingly untouched?.. That's my wicked luck, I guess. Anyway, I'll never look at Kei with the same eyes. Koya-mama, huh?
well, he's BEEN gentle...
