Kira got nervous when he heard who would be his partner. Sure Kazuo had been decent to him the times they spoke before but that was before Kazuya labeled him an enemy and Kira now openly worked of Shige.
Kazuo walked over to his appointed place. He disliked questions. Especially imposing questions. At least he was lucky enough to be paired up with someone he knew and it was someone that didn't get on his nerves.
"I'll just start with the first one then mix it up a bit. Pick one of your scars out, now how did you get it?" Kira was wondering why this type of question was on the list but brushed it off.
Kira told himself not to freak out or anything after all the Nakamura's were violent twins so of course they would have some old wounds that seemed horrific. "Its your turn to ask me now."
Kazuo was unmoving for a moment, as if still remembering the revenge that he had mentioned seconds earlier. Finally, he glanced down and read a question:
"Umm." The weirdest thing he did was get caught with Masao but he couldn't say that. Well not Masao's name but everyone knew he was gay so what the hell.
"Getting caught with my boyfriend by his step dad while we were in a compromising position is the worst I can think of." Kira turned bright red and bent his head down so he couldn't look at Kazuo anymore.
"What is the best way to tell someone how much they mean to you?"
Kazuo blinked hesitantly. What was with this survey?
"Put them out of their misery." He stated this slowly, unsure if that was what he wanted to say.
"Who was your first crush when you were little?" Kazuo spoke the question oddly. It was another question he wondered why the hell the teacher would want to know.
Ignoring the weird response he got from Kazuo,"The same boy I got caught with. We went to the same schools when were little." Kira said with a soft smile. A true one he rarely had these days.
"I don't care for books. They costly. I don't care to see the world and I have alternative ways to broaden my mind. There is no use for books," Kazuo responded almost as if by recitation.
Kazuo read another question that interested him. "What's your worst fear?" It was actually a question he had always wondered about for people.
Kira thought of that a bit before answering. It was obvious what his worst fear was it was always on the back of his mind. "Losing the only people I love and being alone because of it." Kira sat quietly a bit trying to calm his mind and all the images slowly playing in it.
"Question number four, what do you miss at times?" Kira felt a little braver asking Kazuo tougher questions now.
"Nothing," Kazuo replied, a bit surprised at this realization. "If you don't let things work against you, you won't have regrets. Then you won't miss anything." He spoke in a way that was more as if to explain the reason to himself.
"Myself." Kira answered so quietly he wasn't sure if Kazuo could hear him or not.
"Now for your final one I can tell your excited." Kira teased since Kazuo had the same expression throughout the whole interview. "I think I'll do the make up a question one." Kira had been dieing to know the answer to this one since Kazuya had given him as a present to his brother. It wasn't like he was interested or anything.
"What's your sexual orientation? You know are you gay or straight, that kind of thing." Kira didn't care if he got beat up for asking this his curiosity got the better of him and besides he was used to beatings.
"I-" Kazuo paused to think about it. It was a question that he had actually never really thought about. Sure Kazuya had asked him plenty of times. Even Sawada had. Still, he had never really considered it. "I dunno." He replied with uncertainity.
"Are you on drugs? Like the ones Shige's gang sells?"
