Yu ling stood off to the side of the sidewalk her cell phone in her hands. She kept glancing at it and pacing nervously. "Where are they?" she said out loud and nervously looked around. She was worried if they didn't hurry she'd be noticed

Leo growled as blood dripped down from a cut on his forehead. After blocking, attacking, and trying to just fend off the angry group of guys. Leo got pretty banged up, bloody and burised all over again He had enough.

The Yakuza heir grabbed the closest one to him and held the switch blade under the guys throat. "One more move...and I swear I will cut this man's throat." Leo hissed out as blood began to burr his vision.

Yu watched in delight at the whole ordeal but when they began to go all out she felt a tang of guilt deep down and knew she should stop it but for some reason she couldn't. She sat in the same spot just watching as they ganged up on Leo.

Then Leo pulled the knife and Yu was surprised. It was nothing new to her Yu knew a couple of guys that carried them but to be backed so far in the corner and actually threaten a life wasn't something Leo seemed capable of. "I can see his mom in him though." she said to herself sarcastically.

Kintaro stood stock still as Leo held the knife. "Fine you win let him go. Just know if I hear you hit my girl again it will be you waking up with the stab wounds." he threatened before walking away.

"I don't see that happening buddy. Watch your back at night though... I may beleive in playing fair as in one on one...but suprised attacks are my style as well." Leo kept his grip on the boy for a while longer and slightly pressed the knife into a layer of skin. It was Just enough to draw a bit of blood before Leo removed the knife and pushed him at Kintaro. "...Next time you won't be so lucky with just a cut. I promise you that."

Leo walked out of the ally, he was a monster. A fact Leo well accpected and in this case almost proved true.

Kenshin really wanted to intervene in the fight, but he had a feeling that anything he did would make matters worse. Not for Leo, who handled himself rather well, but for himself, because Kiti would probably kill him. He did notice a girl hiding in the shadows, and thinking of all that he had heard, walked over to her. "So, enjoying the show?" He asked quietly.

Yu looked up at Kenshin with frightened eyes.

"You get away from her you creep." Kintaro yelled approaching the new boy. It was obvious the testosterone running through his veins from the fight with Leo.

"No Kintaro stop it." Yu cried jumping into his arms. "I said stop you weren't supposed to come here he had a knife you could of died. Your one of my only friends that doesn't think I'm a freak I don't want you to get hurt." She looked back at Kenshin.

"I know he didn't mean it bad I just wasn't supposed to find out about the others and question him about it. Its always the same if the girl doesn't put out she gets put out. I tried but got scared and he wouldn't stop but I don't want anyone hurt no one was supposed to know it was a secret. If he knows it was me and not one of the others that told I'm dead. I'm begging you both." she looked at Kenshin and Kintaro. "Go home and forget it for my sake." Yu lied hoping Kenshin would get the hints and put two and two together. Her boyfriend Leo was the cause of her being so

Kenshin got the hint, but took it completely the wrong way. He looked up at Kintaro, and drew his dagger. "What did you do to her?" He was vaguely aware that Leo was dating her, and the two and two that he put together was that Leo *must* have been trying to protect her!

Kintaro glanced at the dagger it was a little bigger then Leo's switch blade. "Yu you hang out with some weird dangerous people." he said to her before looking Kenshin square in the eyes. "I did nothing to her just tried to protect her from that monster." his fingers pointed back in the direction Leo took. "Any guy that does this to a girl deserves what he got."

Yu turned to Kenshin. "Kintaro it right he was protecting me but its alright now me and Leo are through. I'm sick of the others how he wouldn't even hide the fact he was sleeping around except when I was with my friends then he would seem like the angel and me a nag. Tonight though was the end." Yu looked down at the ground with teary eyes.

Kiti watched the whole thing quietly trying to think. The odds were pretty strongly in favor of the larger group, and Kiti's first reaction had been to help Leo, but not until she knew what was really going on, and if he actually needed the help. At least she had managed to keep Kenshin from getting both of them killed

'Great a goodie two shoes' Yu thought to herself mind reeling. "NO!" she yelled in a panicked voice. "No police. Come on Kintaro we have to go. I don't want him to know it was me I don't want you in trouble because of me either." she grabbed a hold of his arm and cried on his sleeve.

Kintaro looked down at her sighing. "Fine don't tell the police a thing got it! I'm taking Yu home. As for you others I'll talk to you tomorrow." he said to his friends as they waved goodbye and left.

Kenshin turned to Kiti after everyone had gone, "Was there something just a bit fishy about that, or was it my imagination? That was a rhetorical question, by the way." Kenshin sighed, wondering just what it was he had missed. "By the way, where did you just go right now? And what was that about the police?"

"You have an imagination?" Kiti asked in mock surprise. "Calling the police WOULD have been the logical thing to do, and I really didn't want to have to call an ambulance instead." she shrugged. "Then I figured it would be a good idea to check and make sure they wern't really coming. It might have been awkward, what with you being the only one holding an actual weapon and all." she briefly debated telling him what she knew and what she strongly suspected about Leo from the bits and pieces she had 'overheard'.

"We should probably go now, don't you think?"

As Yu walked off she felt a little better that the two that saw her had never once talked to her before. They couldn't disregard what she said since they didn't know her enough to make any conclusions. They wouldn't get involved either they didn't know her so it wasn't any of their business. Yu was safe and besides they wouldn't be stupid enough to say her name and risk hurting her ten times worse if Leo was doing what he was accused of. Leo wouldn't know and thats what she wanted because when school started it was going to get worse for the boy.
