Inferno Strip

No, not a trendy new club.  Some people call it the verge, the treelawn, the hell strip, or the inferno strip.  It's not technically your property, but you will be ticketed if you let the grass grow too long.  It's where you put your garbage cans, between the sidewalk and the street.

Not living in a neighborhood that has sidewalks I always assumed that would the homeowners land. Seems odd to me it isn't.

Anyone who has time to do landscaping is good in my book. I just hope to one day own a home. Nothing special--just a place to lay my head.

Once I move to Chicago I will have a back yard to play with,

Plans for this summer, Mulching & Composting to prepare for next spring.
