Stolen from
maverick_weirdo .
Take the first sentence (or two) from the first non-meme entry of each month and put them together in a post.
(I did not post in January and February, for whatever reason. Not entirely sure why, but i know i was much busier then than i am now.)
Rumours of my lameness...were completely accurate. Not dead, just busy. And it's a self-fulfilling cycle: being stressed means less posting, which leads to guilt about not posting, which leads to less posting.
Just to prove i'm not totally lazy, and that i have been accomplishing stuff, here is a summary of the past month or so.
cfred started it, then kaasirpent picked it up. And upon examination, it is a might fine idea. I'll give it a try.
Friend locked to spare the rest of the world. Anyone foolish enough to call me friend gets the short end of the stick, though ;)
Now , i am actually grateful in the grand scheme of things. Nobody died, no one got hurt, nothing actually got stolen, and i only spent about $200 more [last Tuesday] than i originally intended. As far as overall happiness, [last Tuesday] wasn't all that bad.
I put 3150 miles on my car in 18 days.
Dear World:Why do you toy with my emotions so?
Because you care, O so much ;) All the random non-clothing drawers in the house are empty, save the kitchen and toolroom. Here is what's left to be done, and the timing of how i hope to accomplish it.
So, it's been a long time since i wasn't in charge of the minutiae about my abode, like carpeting (eww wish i didn't have to) or wall paint colour (beige. yay?). But one "feature" of this apartment is that the heat is electric, which scares the hell out of me. Also, it is radiant ceiling heat. Yes, ceiling. Not floor. Ceiling.
Nothing earth shattering, but i guess i've been busy. 3rd class of TKD tonight. HOLY FRAK i hurt.
I misread the instructions originally and thought it was the first sentence of every non-meme post. That would be fun too, but a lot more time consuming. A project for after Friday - the day my final paper is due.
