You're doing it wrong?

Never in all my thanksgivings have i ever eaten so much i felt sick, or even uncomfortably full.

Sure, i eat more than in a usual sitting, and i always get full, but not to the point where i feel like i've shamed myself, or like i need a nap or to unbutton my jeans.  I eat less than i would if i was going to a Chinese or Indian buffet.

Maybe the difference is, thanksgiving foods are somewhat weird, and nothing i would choose to make for myself? I mean, give me a turkey sized plate of sushi and i will absolutely eat more than i should.  And i do enjoy turkey itself, but since few people serve a salad or anything other than 1 token dish of vegetables on thanksgiving, what choices there are besides the turkey just flat don't appeal to me.  So i eat a normal sized plate of food and that's really that.

Anyway, hope the rest of you feel satisfied with your own level of food intake yesterday :)
