checking in
No real news again, so why am i bothering?
Because i am determined to do a better job this time around. I have several private entries with ideas of things to discuss, but none of them are really working for me over Saturday AM coffee.
Finally gave up and went to the doctor over my minor bike injury. Turns out it was infected, which i'd suspected since the lump was getting larger and not smaller, as time went on. It was still minor and took only about an hour to deal with, with minor lingering soreness that was mostly gone by early evening. I'm allowed to ride again a week Monday, which will improve my mood significantly :)
Today we're meeting a variety of friends at Mary's at noon for some low key Dim Sum. I tried to organize a major trip to China Pearn or Chau Chow, but i knew the holiday weekend would make that tough. So in a few weeks i'll try to get a bunch of us all they way downtown.
Sometime this weekend scholar and i need to watch Foxy Brown and Original Gangsters, and then make characters for his Blaxploitation Wyrd is Bond one shot. That game is seriously going to rock.
And i have to nip into work for about an hour sometime, but that's minor. The surprise doctor visit Friday really cut into my day, so i can spare an hour to finish what i should have gotten done during the day.
Boring life i lead, but i've discovered that boring periods give me the energy for when things are "exciting" which i've found is code for "so stressful i just might not survive this sane" ;)
