(no subject)
wow.. i don't even remember the last time i posted a journal entry! lisa has inspired me lol...
i'm not even going to begin to go into detail about my life since i've posted... just a few tidbits here or there...
work is going well... i got my promotion, although i'm waiting on a position to open up so i can have it.. but yes, i am officially a customer service manager... FINALLY lol maybe now i can pay off some bills... a bigger paycheck would definitely help... not as much as getting money back that is owed... but we won't get into that lol... i need to not be so nice and generous from here on out.. cuz it seems i just keep getting taken advantage of... lost several friendships over the lending money and never getting it back thing... it's just not worth it.
i have become auntie kari since i last wrote... one of my dearest friends, jolie, had a baby girl in november... ariana jayden... and she is the most precious thing in the entire world!
this year is apparantly the year of weddings.... for anyone who remembers my florida friends from back in the day... damon got married a few weeks ago. sooo crazy.. especially to see him up there with his best man and groomsman... jj and tommy, respectively. i have pictures of the three of them from when they were in high school, or shortly after... and to see them all up there... 11 years later at his wedding was surreal!
tabbetha is getting married on june 2... it's about time... they've been together forever! lol i'm so excited and can't wait to see another friend walk down the aisle!
and of course... i get to be in miss meagan's wedding on june 23rd which i'm hella excited about! we have such purty dresses... and it's going to be such a great week of events! i can't divulge any details... cuz well... megz might stumble upon this... but let's just say it's going to be a week of some amazingly fun festivities!
other than that.. just looking forward to going out to cali next week! seems like just yesterday i was booking my plane ticket and bitching about how it was months away.. and here we are.. less than 7 days :) toooooo excited!
so yeah.. that's about it... OOOHHHH so i have this wonderful position in my district at work as the District Community Leader... meaning i am in charge of and organize all the community events, volunteering, drives, etc.... for my entire district. i've started volunteering at give kids the world... a great organization in kissimmee... and have lots of fun things coming up! next is the LIGHT THE NIGHT walk for the leukemia & lymphoma society THIS saturday... if you'd like to support me in my walk, you can do so by donating online HERE every dollar counts! :)
i'll try to get better with this... but if i start slackin... check out my myspace... i'm on that addictive thing every frickin' day :)
