Yesterday I was making pork chops for dinner. The way I make them is to brown them first in a frying pan with olive oil and seasonings then to put them in cream of mushroom soup in my favorite blue casserole dish. Well I usually heat up the soup mixture on one of the burners so that when I put everything in the oven the milk won't curdle. Yesterday I was doing just that when all of a sudden my favorite blue casserole dish explodes in every direction. Of course I screamed and almost had a heart attack. Blue glass went flying everywhere. Amazingly enough I did not get cut but needless to say dinner was ruined. The soup was all over the stove, in the burner, under the burner, down the front of the oven, all over the floor, everywhere, all containing shards of glass ranging from splinter to a few inch long pieces. Of course since the pork was right next to it I didn't want to serve it at all because I was not sure if there was glass in it or not. After I had most of the mess cleaned up Lowell got home and helped me with the rest. We really didn't fell like cleaning up all the burner stuff and more dishes to make something else, we were both hungry so we decided on $5 pizza. Hmmm...Well, I gotta go eat, I am very hungry now. Pregnancy is fun! <3
