Yuck!
Lately, Lowell and I have been seeing these fairly large spiders outside our apartment (thank God not inside). They creep me out, I hate spiders. I did a little bit of research and found out that they are wolf spiders. As Dave stated, "cool name". The ones we have been seeing look like the female. The first two we saw looked like they were dieing, I don't know how the weather effects these guys. Last night we saw one that looked pretty healthy sitting on the cement on our way to the car. Lowell being the nice guy that he is asked if I wanted him to kill it (he usually doesn't kill bugs) but I don't like killing things either, unless they are in my house or on me. I hope I never come face to face with one of these in our place, the ones we've seen have been around one to one and a half inches but they live several years and can get even bigger. They say these spiders are docile and that they rarely bite. The sites that I went to say that the bite does not need medical attention unless there is an allergy. Thank God for that, but I still would not want to get bitten, the fangs on those bad boys look like they would hurt.
