I finally saw Magician of the Silver Sky, the 8th Detective Conan movie.
True that it was theater cam and the sound was lousy and it had been given Chinese subtitles but still...it was fun. But at the same time I couldn't help but compare it to the Airport movies I wrote about earlier. True that the first third of the movie was on the ground but then the murder happened on the plane. It was a pretty cool death for the person too. It was obviously an agonizing death. Lots of sound effects and moving. Of course, Conan solves the murder via a 'volunteer', but not Kogoro this time. Conan accidently used the wrong voice. It was pretty funny (and I'm not telling who he used). Turns out that what killed the person, also began to affect the pilots and the passengers were left having to land the plane themselves. ^^' And through this all, Conan was on the lookout for Kid because he wanted to steal a star sapphire ring. Needless to say, the whole thing with the plane grazing the air traffic control tower and losing an engine was just silly. The only really cool part in the movie was the chase scene between Conan and Kid, earlier on in the movie.
Everytime I look out the window, towards the field in front of this place called the Heritage Center, I see no less than 3 jackrabbits! And that's just looking in one spot. If I look around I might see another 2 or 3. It's nuts how many there are.
Oh yeah, if anyone actually plans to make a comment, you can see the icon I made from the movie with Kogoro making his usual wrong accusation.
