Walking up to your apartment door and realizing that those odd colored stains on the concrete are blood is a bit...unnerving. Tracing them, I'm pretty sure that they belong to my neighbor's kid. She (I think they have a girl) probably cut her foot (looked like her heel) and was running home. The spacing was right for a kid running and there was more blood around the apartment door. If I see them, I'll have to ask if she is okay. It isn't every day you see a blood trail.
