A little prayer
Dear God,
Today I washed my car, my dad's car, and my brother's best friend's car. Now would be an excellent time to send some rain our way. We haven't had any measurable rainfall in two months and summer is rapidly approaching. I didn't like seeing mature pine trees dying two years ago when we didn't have any rain during June and July and I don't want to see it again. And I'm afraid of fire and live in the Piney Woods. I've seen enough footage of forest fires in California to be a little afraid of fire here. So, please send some rain our way.
