Renfest, Sherlock, tornado, omiyage
Renfest: Went Saturday with friends (two of which stayed over at my place :D ). We had a great time. Met up with more people there, weren't completely worn out by the time we made it back after the fireworks and the yum of Scotch Eggs. And, yes, I went in costume. Though, I don't think it was nearly piratey enough for my friends. But I was comfortable. Next year (which I'm getting a head start on planning), I'm going as a bard (and will be carrying a singing bowl for my instrument). I'm horribly inspired by some authentically sewn striped pants to make some for my bard, possibly in blue and yellow.
Tornado: My friend saw the the overturned 18 wheeler on her way back to Dallas. She probably missed the tornado by 15-3 minutes. o.O I'm glad she made is home safely.
Sherlock: I had hoped it was going to be good. I had only dreamed it would be this good. :D I'm excited for next week's episodes. My view of Sherlock Holmes has been updated! And I'm sad there are only 3 episodes (at the moment).
Omiyage: One of my friends who came down for Renfest got me a Detective Conan shirt (8th movie with an awesome silloette of Kid on the back) on her recent trip to Japan. She rocks! Pictures will come when I'm not wearing it. :)
