FMA Ch 101
Noooooooooooo, cliffhangers are evil! I swear, this story just gets better with each passing chapter. I love the unspoken contact between Mustang and Hawkeye and how Mustang knows that Hawkeye would kick his butt if he did human transmutation. And the simple words of Oliver. And May a pure awesome for a little girl. I hope that Ed and Al learn the foreign alchemy from her at some point after the end of the story.
Can I just say how much I love the women of FMA? Hawkeye, Izumi, Winry, Oliver, May, Ran/Lan-Fan. They are all so awesome. Each is woman but they are strong in so many different ways. I adore Arakawa for making truly wonderful women. So many times is seems like women/girls are simply added to a story to satisfy female readers or simply be eye candy for the guys. But FMA would lose something if the women were not who they are. If I ever get to meet Arakawa, I'm going to give her a big hug and thank her for creating good women.
