I have been a bit quiet recently, mainly because I have had my head in a series of books for several weeks. However I can recommend reading Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time right through from beginning to end. I got there yesterday. There are a few continuity problems in Brandon Sanderson's telling of the last three volumes, but, considering he was working from the copious notes dictated by the terminally ill Robert Jordan, I think he did a brilliant job bringing the the series to an end. Books 12, 13 and 14 are really well written. So if you want a really long read and love fantasy, then go for it.
