I enjoyed my week in Essex, Abigail is growing of course, she can roll over onto her tummy, but then can't get back, Kate found a Jumperoo online and she really enjoys bouncing in it, though only for a short time. Pictures later.

I ended up doing two fundraisers with the Lionesses, it was lovely to be back with them. On Saturday we were in Witham with a small Bottle Tombola, (using up the last few bottles of the year) and Bric-a-Brac. Everything was going so slowly at first, so I suggested we took off the stall anything we thought was worth more, then make a sign saying everything 50p and under. As this was the last time this stuff would be out this year everyone agreed and it drew the punters. In total we made £67 and went back with four boxes less to store, having also given some items to charity shop, so we were pleased

On Tuesday it was Pink Night, when we raised money for Breast Cancer. I bought 3 strips of raffle tickets, between myself and my American Friend from Germany, Believe it or not the first four tickets in the raffle were all ours. I only took 2 prizes though, as we had decided we would make sure every one got a prize. We ended up making £116 on food, raffle and a pink bring and buy.

I spent a little more time looking around Chelmsford and Maldon for a flat cap for Mark, lots of shops had "One size fits all" at various prices.... but they were barely big enough for me, I found one at £17.50 in Maldon and then finally bought one for £10 in Chelmsford, size 63cm... it fits! The ones from Barnsley, biggest size 60cm were only 3.99 each. I also needed more dark blouses from Charity  shops but not much luck there, I could do with one more, maybe I will find another one at a Flomarkt.

All my Christmas cards are bought, written and left for posting at the appropriate time, so I felt pleased, but, sorry roobarb I didn't get time to address the envelope with your cards and the books you lent me, so they will have to wait until Christmas to be returned, I still need to finish reading the last two though.

Packing on Thursday was a nightmare, I packed and unpacked the two cases trying to get them under the weight limit even leaving half my bacon behind for Dan and Kate, but still didn't manage it, so had to take a kilo of cheese out at Check in, fortunately they didn't weigh my hand luggage, which is where the extra lilo ended up. If they had I would have had to donate my Wensleydale, Lancashire, Double Gloucester and Cheshire to the girls on the desk.

Tired today after arriving home after midnight last night, but have added 10 new books to the ESOC library and am now going down to the store to sort through props and costumes to take to the rehearsal in the theatre on Sunday. It will be none stop from now on.
