Convertible

I had recently started knitting the Convertible shawl from knitty.com. I was using yarn I purchased specifically for the project, a hand-dyed wool bought at the 2007 MD Sheep & Wool Festival.

So far, I've only started the garter stitch edge rows, and the whole thing looks like a holey mess. I had decided to frog it and start over from scratch.

However, I have just discovered the miracle that is Ravelry! After searching through other folks posts of the same project, my holey mess looks just the same as theirs!! I have made the fatal mistake of judging a lace project before it is blocked. I should know better than that!

So, frogging is off the table, and it's back to work for me!
