Poem: "Books of the Dead and the Living"

Very true. My mother has decided that she wants to work in hospice care and death counseling because she feels the need so unfilled in this culture.

We have no thanatologists. There is very little support for anything remotely approaching a healthy death experience. It's a miserable disaster. Every effort to improve the situation is greatly needed.
