There are two open epics at present.
"
Before You Can Love Me" belongs to Iron Horses. Spotted Deer and Warshirt discuss oppression.
"
The Simple Act of Caring" belongs to the Big One. Pips takes care of Bennett and Jules after the earthquake.
The weather has been variable here. We got a good solid snow a few days ago, which is mostly melted off now. Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a large flock of sparrows, a flock of mourning doves, a flock of assorted blackbirds, multiple cardinals, a house finch, and two fox squirrels. Sedum, garlic chives, snowdrops, tulips, and other bulbs are sprouting. Some crocuses have flower buds showing.
Winter aconite is starting to bloom.
