Last week's poetry fishbowl went well. I am still writing.
There are three open epics at present.
" Within the Souls of Men" belongs to Shiv. Shiv and Ben realize that it's been a rough week for everyone, for different but related reasons.
" Before You Can Love Me" belongs to Iron Horses. Warshirt is so very confused about how the totem girls treat him.
" That Light Bulb in Your House with a Short in It" belongs to Shiv, Iron Horses, and Foster Fiasco. The Iron Horses ask for Shiv's help in rescuing a tribal child from an inappropriate foster home.
The weather has been mild here. Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a few house finches and a fox squirrel. Currently blooming: moss rose, snapdragons, marigolds, verbena, petunias, portulaca, torenia, white alyssum, blue lobelia, pansies, violas, morning glory, impatiens, cosmos, cypress vine, zinnias, sunflowers, sedum, thistle, goldenrod, and pineapple sage. Harvest is mostly done, but a few fields are still standing.
