Last week's Poetry Fishbowl went well. I am still writing.

There are two open epics at present.
" Within the Souls of Men" belongs to Shiv and has 27 new verses. Smoking Breath endeavors to mediate between Shiv and Ben.
" Before You Can Love Me" belongs to Iron Horses. Warshirt is so very confused about how the totem girls treat him.
The weather has been warm to cool here. We finally got some rain, a drizzle earlier in the week and then a good soaking rain yesterday. Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a flock of sparrows, a flock of house finches, several mourning doves, a pair of cardinals, a brown-headed cowbird, and a fox squirrel. Honeysuckle, moss rose, lantana, snapdragons, marigolds, pineapple mint, verbena, petunias, portulaca, torenia, white alyssum, blue lobelia, pansies, violas, mock orange, yarrow, Asiatic lilies, morning glory, hollyhock, and daylliy are blooming. Black raspberries have pink fruit. Pie cherries and mulberries are ripe.
