Nonprofit organizations can work together in various ways for a lot of reasons. Hanson Hall includes both formal arrangements (the Tikkun Olam Collective consists of several individual charities) and casual associations (All Life Is Precious and the Satanic Church of Informed Consent Center for Life Choices benefit from proximity because they serve divergent audiences). On a larger scale, having multiple unusual groups in the building fosters an air of tolerance and strength in numbers should outsiders try to harass anyone.
