The weather has been mild here. It drizzled a bit last night. Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a flock of house finches, a flock of mourning doves, a lady cardinal, and a squirrel. Currently blooming: morning glories, nasturtium, cup plant, black-eyed Susan, Queen Anne's lace, petunia, zinnias, marigolds, spiderwort, cypress vine, sedum, some yellow thing amidst the big bluestem, wild sunflowers, sunchokes.
