Reminds me of a bit in RAH's Job. Our Protagonist, in Heaven, is talking with a fellow he knew in life, a chef who was set on by crooks. WTTEO:
He laughed. “Crazy fools! Try ’n’ jump a cook in his own kitchen!”
Knives, hatchets, skewers, ..., all as sharp as can be, and he knows exactly where they are and how to use them.

Yay! Of course, the dragons have the advantages of size and firepower, but each of the Six Races has its own assets.

Now I'm thinking of that scene in Beauty and the Beast where the invaders reached the kitchen and all the knives jumped out of the drawers and the stove fired up. :D
