Poem: "Moonlight and Muzzles"

This poem came out of the August 7, 2012 Poetry Fishbowl.  It was inspired by rowyn and sponsored by the general fund.

Moonlight and Muzzles

The wolf cubs
venture out of their den
beneath the clinging roots of a fallen tree,
moonlight silver on their small muzzles.

I'm glad you like it.

That's fairly close to the original mythology. Artemis is associated with the moon, and particularly, her bow corresponds to the crescent moon. It made sense to me that she'd be shooting moonbeams.
