Although, on the second thought, I do have a point of concern. If someone has been brought up in -- or chosen to convert to -- a religion, and sincerely believes in and tries to live up to the principles of that religion, is it fair to turn him or her away because his or her ancestors worshiped a different god/dess?

I believe that a true convert would be called to what Diety they serve. Someone who misuses their religion, however, would surely be rejected.
