Here is the generally sponsored poetry poll for the June 19, 2012 fishbowl. You have $33 to spend. Everyone is eligible to vote in this poll. I will leave it open at least until Sunday morning. If there's a clear winner then, I'll close it. Otherwise I may leave it open a little longer.
There are two $20 poems left, so you could publish either of those: "Like Nobody's Watching" and "Shepherding the Flock." That would leave $13 for epic poetry.
"Like Nobody's Watching" -- 56 lines, $20
The musical instruments inspired the free-verse poem "Like Nobody's Watching." Auduna tries to make sense of the Hart's Farm dances with their jumble of Scandinavian and Irish steps. Astrid has a better idea.
"Shepherding the Flocks" -- 46 lines, $20
The prompt about sheep turned into "Shepherding the Flocks." This free-verse poem features both farming and parenting skills, and a couple of rare breeds of Swedish sheep. Also, this poem introduces three new characters who reappear in later poems: the farmer Vendel and two teenaged boys, Sindri and Thorsten.
There are two open epics. You could put $13 leftover here, or all $33, divided so as to maximize new verses. "
An Amazing Carriage of Amber and Jade" belongs to The Steamsmith and needs $60 to be funded fully. Either $7 or $13 would reveal 1 new verse. $15 would reveal 2 new verses; $33 would reveal 4 new verses. "
Behind the Red Robe" belongs to Hart's Farm and needs $80 to be funded fully. $6 would reveal 2 new verses; $13 would reveal 4 new verses. $18 would reveal 7 new verses; $33 would reveal 11 new verses.
