I was intrigued by the idea of an evil "summons" for minions. And I do admit to finding thee two interesting.

It's basically like want ad with magic behind it. The caster sets parameters, then the spell goes looking for people (or creatures, whatever) that match. It can be a very compelling lure. Nib and Brod are capable minions and kinda homesick ... but not quite what they used to be. That can get disconcerting.
