Is the cup bearer supposed to drink that much out of the cup? :)

Whether he is or not, he usually does. Dionysos spends much of Greek mythology too plastered to walk straight. I always tend to think of him as that guy who dances on the coffee table and has stories told about him forever after.

Fair enough. There are fewer references to her getting drunk, but with Dionysus involved, I figured that was more likely.

Reminds me a bit of one of the Native American tales of how butterflies came to be...

Totally off topic, I wanted to say that you did an incredible job covering Ace last week. Thank you so much for that. It was really informative.

Any chance you would consider doing a similar round on writing characters with disabilities? Yes, I know that a lot of people have covered this one, but I happen to like the way that you approach this sort of research...

I'm glad you enjoyed the ace posts. They have proven both popular and effective.

I might cover disabilities eventually. I've written about the topic a few times. I'd be more likely to do it if crowdfunded, though. Otherwise it'll have to wait until I need it. That's part of why I wrote the ace stuff -- I kept bumping against those issues in my writing and elsewhere, so when that happens, I tend to sit down and do a piece so I'll have the data in one convenient place.
