This poem was inspired by a discussion between kelkyag and janetmiles in the comments following " Stonewings." It was sponsored by janetmiles. Here, have more gargoyles.
Heh. So now the gargoyles hatchlings eat steak, or pigeons? If the gargolyes were selectively hunting criminals ... why? Will the chicks be properly nourished on other game?
I'm amused by the "New York Trash reporter" as well. Their "how I got this photo" story must be exciting.

I don't know. Yes, the gargoyles selectively targeted criminals. I don't know if they can eat other food; likely so. But they might run into trouble if they don't get any criminal flesh.

I figured that once the news got out about gargoyles, people would try to get better photos -- and the National Geographic folks would be at a disadvantage on that turf. A skilled and somewhat reckless urban photographer would stand a better chance.
