What's been working for me is I've just been counting calories. I've been using the tracker at sparkpeople.com since it's got a nice website function where you tell it how much you weigh, how much you want to lose, and it calculates how much you ought to be eating based on that.
So far with calorie counting, I've dropped a bit over 25 pounds. And now I've hit the same weight loss plateau I hit when I was doing South Beach and the army guys were crawling up my butt, so it's just kind of frustrating.
