Sneaking this one in, so I can do the last one on New Year's Day....
Day One: Ten things you want to say to ten different people right now.
Day Two: Nine things about yourself.
Day Three: Eight ways to win your heart.
Day Four: Seven things that cross your mind a lot.
Day Five: Six things you wish you’d never done.
Day Six: Five people who mean a lot (in no order whatsoever)
Day Seven: Four turn offs.
Day Eight: Three turn ons.
Day Nine: Two images that describe your life right now, and why.
Day Ten: One confession.
Image One:
Why this one? Because I like the movement and the image of controlled flight. I love skyscapes; I love the dance of the skydivers, working together to create their art in the sky and then end their fall safely. Why did I choose it for me? Because right now I feel in movement; I'm heading for my 50th year next May, but getting older doesn't feel scary, not just at this moment in time. I don't feel stagnant, I don't feel tied down or tied up... I feel like I'm in flight. I hope it's a good flight, and I hope I keep traveling in company.
Image two:
This one's a little silly but I like it-- evolution, plain and simple. Again, movement, going forward, changing for the better. Change is inevitable and inexorable; the hard thing is picking the right kind of change, or letting it pick you. I'm trying. ^__^
Okay, so there we go. Both images came from www.flickr, by the way. I could've picked less dramatic images, I guess, but it's less than half an hour before the year's turning and these appealed to me.
Happy New Year, everyone! Let's roll.
