Ysabet: "Those baby ferrets, they're on sale, huh?"
Salesgirl: "Sure are. You have ferrets?"
Ysabet: "Three!"

Ysabet: "So, I know I shouldn't do this, but... can I hold the one with the cream-colored blaze? And the big sable guy, and the one with the stripe?"
Cunning Salesgirl: "Sure!"
FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER.....
Ysabet: "I shouldn't do this. I really shouldn't do this. I wasn't planning on doing this."
Other Customer Who'd Been Watching: "You're going to buy one, aren't you?"
Ysabet: "...........yes. Can I hold them all again so I can make up my mind? I mean, the blaze and the stripe, one of those, but..."

Very Cunning Salesgirl: "And sign here, and there you go. Bye, stripy baby!"

See? I told y'all I could explain. Now, meet Shima. That's Japanese for 'streak', for rather obvious reasons.
He's eight weeks old. That stripe that you see starts at his upper shoulderblades and runs all the way down his back, continuing on as his tail; it's kind of a gray/tan color. He's sweet and gentle-mouthed and right now he's curled up with two of his three new brothers-- I haven't heard ANY fighting, they just seem to be all "oh, another weasle! Cool! Hi, kid!" Bob has licked him several times and then run off and sulked after Shima decided to try to chase his paws.
Holy shit, I am such a child of impulse. But he's beautiful and I love him already. Welcome to the family, Shima; I hope you like us. ^__^
