I see no reason why gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot.

And Bud K probably carries throwing knives suitable for the occasion: http://www.budww.com/

(Although I may well be preaching to the Buddha; as a SCAdian, you're quite likely to own the kind of stuff that Bud K products want to be when they grow up.)

Oh.... just a few things..... XD You should see my teddy bear, Theodora Ursinus; she sleeps beneath my pillow and has a very sharp tongue when she needs to make a point. Roman, you know.

Hmm... are you local SCA? I don't recognize the moniker. ??

To quote another groundbreaking character of color in another context altogether: "Sorry, neither."

I'm the shadowy Partner in Crime KosagiNoLegion occasionally references, which would place me in Ohio; although I've never belonged to the SCA, we have enough friends involved that I've learned something of the folkways.

(Why not Theodora Ursina, by the way? I plead guilty to having taken enough high-school Latin for the gender dissonance to register.)

Ahah! Well, nice to meet you. ^__^

..and as for my shameful doggerel Latin, it's because I *haven't* taken it ever (they didn't offer it where I went to school, sad to say.) And I daresay Theodora won't miss a consonant, so from now on she's Theodora Ursina. Thanks!

Or would it be 'Pence for the Guy?'

Well, what with inflation it ought to be 'Pounds for the Guy?" But 'Penny for the Guy' is the traditional way of asking for cash to buy fireworks and snackage for celebrating. I've always loved that the Brits celebrate the not blowing-up of Parliament by, basically, burning and blowing things up. Sensible!
