Okay, possibly this is TMI, but...
1. There's a school nearby where they practice band every morning-- you know, marching band? Lots of music, progressively getting better each year from awful to reasonable as the months progress and then starting over the following June. They begin early each day, so I hear it while getting ready for work.
2. Outside in my backyard, my cats are being Free Range Kittehs this morning, and apparently eating grass.
3. The band was just cookin' along, playing something fast and lively. And one of my cats decided to hork up, with that "ACK! HACK! HORK!" noise that they use; gross, but better outside than inside on my floor. This went on for no less than twelve "horks" exactly before ignition, so to speak. Trust me, it was loud enough to know this.
4. And the cat and the band were perfectly in rhythm, utterly and exactly. For three full measures.
5. That's just waaaaaaaaaay disturbing. @_@
