We had a drawing at work. I entered-- hey, it was free; my workplace sponsored winnings from a Tucson restaurant-based charity drive, the Child & Family Resource Lobster Landing. It's to benefit mental health services for kids and their families, and that's pretty neat.
I WON A DOUBLE-LOBSTER DINNER WITH ALL THE FIXINGS!!! EEEEEEEEEEYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!! I HARDLY EVER WIN ANYTHING!!!

I get to pick it up on 11/8/07, which is a Saturday. I think this calls for a MAJOR sharing-of-lobster-with-friends occasion, don't y'all? AT SOUTHERN CRUSADES. Which just happens to be that weekend.
So: I need to plan on making a trip back into Tucson in the middle of the event. If anybody needs to come back for anything (grocery run, etc.) let me know, 'cause we'll be having lobster that night.

LATER EDIT: Em just pointed out to me that I *did* win something recently, the domino_effect drawing for the Phoenix staff t-shirt; so maybe my luck's changing! ^_____^
AND EVEN LATER, ANOTHER EDIT: Hmmm. No, I think I'll pick it up first and *then* head out to SC instead of leaving Friday night as originally planned. I'll hopefully be sewing some new stuff starting tonight, so if things go as usual I'll be working on them right up until the last minute as usual anyway, and I can't afford to drive the trip more than the necessary up-there-and-back.
